Spring 2009 Education Abroad Program Photo Contest Winners!

This contest was open to all EAP Returnees. We will have another contest in the fall for International Students and Scholars. The Office of International Education would like to thank all of the students that submitted photos!

Location / Ada Foah, Ghana
Description / Two of my nursery school students enjoying the ocean breeze after school

Location / Halong Bay, Vietnam
Description / While visiting Vietnam during my school break I went on a boating trip to Halong Bay. Here is a woman who rowed from boat to boat selling various goods and seafood. There are live crabs in the basket.

Third Place

Tide Coming In-Kathleen Quinlan

Location / Mont-Saint-Michel, France

Description / Mont-Saint-Michel is a medieval village and abbey in Normandy, France. The tide surrounding the village rises and falls throughout the day, making Mont-Saint-Michel at times an island, at times accessible by land. This picture was taken in October, as the tide was coming in around 6:00 pm. We had to hastily move our car!
