Study Abroad Fair
October 2, 2009
A first for UCSC's International Education Office - In addition to UC's own Education Abroad Program (EAP), over 30 exhibitors came to the Quarry Plaza on a sunny day in October to showcase a variety of study abroad opportunities for UCSC students. This is the first such study abroad fair to come to campus and we hope that it will be the start of an annual Fall tradition.
International Students and Scholars Welcome Reception
October 20, 2009
Director George Barlos and the ISSS staff welcomed over seventy of UCSC international students and scholars at a reception held downtown at Woodstock's Pizza. The event was to welcome and appreciate the valuable contribution made by our international population at UCSC.
