Serving UCSC's international students and scholars, ISSS is a functional area within the Office of International Education (OIE). ISSS advocates for international students and scholars to the UCSC community and is UCSC's liaison to local, state, and federal agencies. As mandated by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), ISSS provides information and guidance on the regulations and laws required to remain in the U.S. legally
